Zenit is a Hungarian crossbreed grape variety that inherits subtle
florality from the Bouvier and distinctive acidity from the Ezerjo to
produce a tantalising wine.
A delicate perfume greets the nose: primary notes of lime mingle with hints of white peach, grapefruit zest, acacia blossom and an enticing buttery sweetness. Unobtrusive, clean flavours and salty-acidic overtones balance the Zenit’s restrained aromatic intensity for a slightly creamy texture and medium length finish. Conjuring up sunny South Balaton summer days, our Zenit pairs well with light goat and cow cheeses, grilled chicken breast or even a buttery, herby Balaton perch. Spontaneously fermented, matured on fine lees for seven months, unfiltered and organic.
